exposure to procedures, how do readouts work, moonlighting available etc.
hospital characteristics: size, trauma, pediatric exposure, community/academic/mixed etc.
types/number of spots available, ESIR available
Florida - Miami Beach
Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida Program
Pretty good schedule. Nice location right on Miami Beach. Good leadership, PD and chairman of the department are very nice and resident-oriented. Lots of vascular (CLI/PAD almost exclusively) for those interested in IR. But new IR faculty are working on starting up some IO. Probably one of my favorite PDs from the trail.
Smaller institution, seems like there are less resources. Facilities aren't what you'd expect for a place on Miami Beach, but they're okay. Underwhelming interview day with boring food. Residents are...an interesting bunch, got an odd vibe from two of them. +2 to the weird vibe and underwhelming interview day.
Yes, but only one moonlighting site at Miami Children's and it's home call for wet reads.
