-Fun group of residents, seems like a really laid back atmosphere and Galveston is a pretty cool place depending on what you're into.
-In addition to the hospital tour they take applicants to a medical museum exhibit that they have in the library building that was really interesting.
-Dinner the night before was at a super casual cafe with good food that heavily reflects Galvey life.
-Great benefits and low COL, has easy access to Houston.
-Only two 30 min interviews and most applicants do not interview with the program director. 30 minutes can seem like a LONG TIME depending on if you get an interviewer that starts with "What questions do you have"...
-The interview lunch left a lot to be desired.
-PC spent the first 30 minutes talking about how terrible the weather is in Galveston and how often they have natural disasters
Galveston has streets that can flood easily so be cognizant of that.
