great dinner// blown away by the campus and the facilities at MIR. Residents seemed extremely confident and intelligent, moreso than the vibes at other programs. Huge alumni network, basically said they can get you a job anywhere you want. See a ton of volume and variety as WashU is one of the only major academic referral centers in the region. Other programs rave about fellows they get from MIR. Seemed like a great place to train. St. Louis sucks but the hospital is in the Central West End which is a pretty gentrified and affluent part of town.
- st louis
- for how big the program is, I didn't see/get to meet that many residents... there were only 3-4 out of 72? during lunch
- IT is very subpar for a program of its caliber
