Very well-organized, and the coordinators Dionne and Albert are such nice people. Day starts with breakfast, chatting with an APD and the chair of the department, and then the PD gives a talk about the program. Then interviews/tours begin as you're split into two groups. Interviews are with one R4, two faculty/APDs, and the PD (4 total x 15 min each). Very relaxed interviews, everyone is so nice. PLENTY of time to talk to residents with the interview dinner (some people have the dinner before their interview and some have it afterwards, depending on which day you interview). They feed you a lot and give you a goody bag at the end of the day which was nice.
Overall really great experience no real negatives, although noon conference was long.
Maybe this was just my experience, but one of the interviewers talked nonstop and hardly let me get a word in... The other 3 were great.
Residents spent more time hanging out with each other during pre-interview dinner and didn't really disperse to chat with applicants.
It's Boston, the T is okay but Uber/Lyft is easy and relatively cheap.
